Soon-to-be Hairspray Addict

Posted by Alexandra Evjen on January 18, 2010 | 4 Comments

Beauty confession – Until recently, I only used hairspray to keep flyaways under control when my hair was in a ponytail. Plus, I’ve had the same can of hairspray for the past two years.

As of two days ago, I finally took the advice of many hairstylists and beauty columns by spraying sections of my hair before curling it. Wow, all I have to say is I’m addicted.

So, here’s my question to all of you…What hairspray do you use? Why? I’m in the market for a new bottle, and all I’ve ever really used is Dove’s hairspray.

the BEST i mean BEST, BEST ever hairspray you can get is Loreal’s Elnett Satin. it just became available in the US last year. it is the finest mist, non sticky spray you can find and is a cult favorite among beauty addicts. Target sells it in the salon brand aisle for about $13. it is a big metallic gold can and lasts forever. i have had mine for over 6 months! LOVE IT.

I’d trust any hair product advise that Nicky gives because for as long as I’ve known her (18yrs or so) she has the most beautiful locks. Goldielocks!

Good one, Nic! Also, if you’re looking for a cheap one, I recently bought the TreSemme brand and it works great. Doesn’t flake and it smells great! Welcome to the hairspray club, it’s wonderful :)
